Dr. Diana Lafer founded Cats Limited in 1995.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Wesleyan University in 1985 and her veterinary degree from Cornell University in 1989.  Dr. Lafer has a cat (Sparky), a dog (Lucy) and two horses (Shadow and Razz).  She enjoys spending time with her husband and daughters, horseback riding, skiing, hiking, rollerblading, and volunteering for the Lakeville Pony Club.

Dr. Katie McClaine joined our staff in 2003.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the State University of New York (Buffalo) in 1992 and her veterinary degree from Cornell University in 1996.  Dr. McClaine has two cats (Felix and Baxter) and a whippet mix (Abby).  She enjoys playing the bassoon for the West Hartford Symphony Orchestra, exercising, and spending time with her husband and daughter.

Dr. Laurie Hester joined our staff in 2005.  She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from the Southern Illinois University in 1998 and her veterinary degree from University of Illinois in 2002.  Dr. Hester has four cats (Cooper, Zeke, Fiona and Lola).  She enjoys spending time with her husband and son, traveling and reading.

Dr. Erik Ask joined our staff in 2007.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in biology and animal physiology from Cornell University in 2000 and his veterinary degree from Cornell University in 2004.  Dr. Ask has two cats (Gizmo and Abby) and enjoys cooking, camping, hiking and reading.
